Table 134. Interactive Login Mode

This mode is used to prevent accidental login to another controller.

None

No interaction with the user at login

Corresponds to the previous behavior of older versions

Enter ID

CODESYS requires you to provide an ID at login. The ID is stored in the controller. Login is not possible without a valid ID.

At the next login, CODESYS does not ask for an ID anymore if the computer name, user name, device name, and device address are unchanged. The information is stored in the project options.

Press key

At login, a dialog opens, prompting you to press a key on the controller. The timeout for this action is defined in the device description.

Wink (=blink an LED)

The connected controller blinks at login.

_cds_icon_option_deactivated.png: Default setting; consistent access not allowed

standard icon: Consistent access allowed

The setting is effective only after you download all applications and boot applications to the controller again.

Note: When the option is selected, the jitter can increase on this device for all IEC applications. Consistent access can interrupt the real-time capability.
